Can you text without looking at your screen?

I'm astounded as I've realised kids/young adults can do this?
Maybe older people can as well and it's only me but how?

Back when I had a Nokia 3210 I could unlock and send a text without looking. You could count the buttons (eg, letter C was hitting the number 1 three times.
Much harder to know what you're doing on smart phones.

I miss those days. If the new Nokia 3210 (2024) had Spotify and LinkdIn I'd ditch my iPhone!

I can't, I can barely type looking at the screen most of the time. My 14yo can, she is like a machine when she is firing off messages to friends.
