If you have one tell me about it, pros and cons. Friends of ours have bought one and we are thinking about it. Very expensive though and the worry is it being damaged or crashing it.

We have had ours for 8 months. It’s a transit van style(6 metres) with shower/loo & bed at the back. My husband retired last year and we’ve used it for many weekends in the UK. Currently on a 3 week trip in France. We absolutely love it. I do worry about it, but my husband takes care of all the practicalities(insurance, security etc)which is reassuring for me.
As it can be a big investment, it may be worth hiring one to try it out first. We did that.
