Curtains help please

Curtain virgin here 😳

Just moved from the house that had the blinds and planning to have some eyelet curtains. Found the ones that I like (and they are on sale)but I can’t figure out the measurements

My understanding is that they are sold in pairs and the width measurement given on the website is the measurement of 1 curtain? Just had a quick consultation with a friend who is not sure as „it might be the width of both of them”😵‍💫

Could anybody advice please? Width of the window is 180 cm, drop is 150 cm

Curtain(s?)size given on website is 167cm width and 182cm drop.

Thank you 🙂

What is the next width up that is available?
The curtain size will be wleach, but you need each curtain to be about the size of the window, to get a fullness of fabric. With eyelet you might get away with it (although have you measured the window, or the length of the pole - which us greater, as the curtains sit outside the window too).
I'd probably get the 228 width.

I don’t have curtain poles yet so 180+20+20=220. Looks like I need 228 width then? There’s also 228 drop and I’m thinking about 182 as I don’t want it to go right to the floor.

Correct me if I’m wrong 🤯

Right, I go by inches but by your measurements you'd need 66' width and 72' drop. Hope that helps 😜

That's 168cm width 182cm drop

Haha @Devilsmommy thanks but converted that already 🙂
I can either take 167 or 228 width.
220cm will be the curtain pole width 🤔 according to the tutorial @Greatmate has posted.
If I take 167 then it will be less than recommended 1.5 width so that leaves me with 228 width to take? Better more than less? Don’t want to end up with heap of fabric either 😵‍💫

Yeah it's a 90'w 72'd then. I was exactly the same when I moved in to my flat 18 months ago. Too many windows all different sizes so a nightmare trying to get the same curtains for each without the one size being sold out. You should be good with the 90 though as you want a nice bit of gathering on them. Good luck😊
