Hi Mumsnetters, I ordered an item a few days ago on Amazon, the product was being sold by a seller on Amazon Marketplace rather than Amazon itself.
Cost was £19 for the item plus £2 P&P for a quicker delivery.
Box has arrived today and I've been totally scammed. They've wrapped a can of cheap corner shop 39p cola in a box and sent in lieu of the actual item.
I've had a cursory look on Amazon and you have to get in touch with the 'seller' to 'complain' to them. Which is ludicrous because the seller is the scammer and will clearly not admit fault or refund me. I'm so annoyed with myself, the listing looked completely legit and I've never had a problem with AM before.
I know it's only £21 but they clearly know what they're doing. Any help/advice/experiences you can share? I feel the scammers know how Amazon works and the lack of help and are using it to their advantage. Thanks!
