DH and I are having a worst man in tv sitcoms discussion.

These are the top 2 awful men we've come up with having watched both MM and MBB very recently due to illness induced sofa bingeing. We've already had an extensive debate and have concluded it from our end.

I am opening the debate to MN. Please discuss.

I don't plan to reveal our final conclusions until this is done, though it's a close outcome. Please feel free to join.

I got somewhat confused between Gary Strang and Gary Shandling for a moment then and was going to agree, but on the other hand, the latter was so bad, he was good.

I don’t know who Don Draper is but I’ve been rewatching MBB for nostalgia on whatever channel it appears on late at night, it’s definitely not PC but it’s very silly and it’s relaxing enough to have on before going to sleep!
Gary Strang is a mixture of awful yet practical, financially stable but such a bore.

Would you prefer if I referred to period dramas?

Was just confused as you posted about worst male characters from sitcoms then listed Jimmy McNulty and Tony Soprano.

There weren't many (any?) laughs in The Wire.
