I have standing vip tickets for this next week. Am very confused though, it says early entry - does anyone know if that is all the VIP bit is? So we can go into the section at 3pm before everyone else piles in at 4?! Any idea? There is no info about this on the ticket and the merch that came in the post doesn’t say. My daughter is quite short so keen to be at front,,,but I am quite old so can’t imagine being stood from 3pm til midnight…these were the only tickets available though and we are big fans!!

to enjoy what’s available - in Edinburgh there were food stands, bars, merch stands. We didn’t go in until half 5 though.

Thank you, so if we don’t get there until 5 will we still be in a good position do you think? Or will we be behind all the regular ticket holders? And what happens when you go to the loo or something?! Do you risk losing your space?!! Sorry but I am so out of touch…

I know what has been happening in other cities regarding the standing section is people are getting there from 3pm, finding their spot and sitting down on the ground until just before the opener to save their legs.

From what I have heard up until that point people are able to leave one person 'saving' the place and have the other(s) go off, get merch, go to the loo, get drinks/food... and return to their spot without too many issues. I have seen people recommending to take a selfie of where you are to show others so it doesn't look like you are just pushing past and also to help remember and find your group. However, once Paramore or Taylor starts you cannot expect people to let you back, if you leave you are giving up the space, it will be swallowed up by the crowd. Hypothetically, even if people were willing to let you pass them it would take an age to work through everyone, you would probably miss 1hr of her set just trying to get back and thats no fun and no way to enjoy what's happening on stage.
