I've just ordered some really obnoxious wallpaper, and now have the post buy sinking feeling. Do you ever get that?

The amount I spend on amazon you would think I would be more used to regretting my purchases 🤣

On a more chatty note, we (family ) are going to see Foo Fighters tomorrow evening. I'm not a particular fan of the band, but I am a fan of spending time with my family!

Hehe, buyer's remorse, it's a killer 😂 I have a roll of very expensive outlandish wallpaper I bought a year ago for my lounge chimney breast. I still love it but I haven't had the courage to pull the trigger yet, and DH is quite happy to keep quiet and hope I forget about it.

Been a busy day. Work, admin, kids etc. chilling outside now. More admin needs doing but that's a constant.

@wishfulsinful I live with my elderly mother, she's had/having a breakdown and won't leave the house, won't let me leave the house and won't have a conversation with me 😅
@Cityenergy I'd love to work from home, or just work generally, I'm having no luck with applications 😂

Things sound tough with your mum, are you and her getting support? Being a prisoner in your own home is awful 💐

@GenerallyConfused95 it's this Tudor Rose one - I have portraits of Henry VIII's wives on the walls and a deep red feature wall, so this would really set it off, but it's quite in-your-face Tudor themed so I'm sure some people would snigger!

I’m up for a chat. Are you getting any support for your mum at all? Sounds really rough for you both.

I’m just crashed on the sofa, dh is faffing about in the garden (we just planted a load of herbs and he’s tending to them), we had a bbq for dinner and he got distracted afterwards so I’ve left him to it outside, it’s pretty chilly out there.
Dc1 is on holiday with her boyfriend, dc2 is playing a game with her boyfriend and dc3 is tidying his bedroom - some people will do anything to avoid going to bed 😂

Same. If I work from an office my son gets stuck in pre and after school club every day and I miss him. Now I WFH I get so spend time with him but have forgotten how to socialise 😅 can't bloody win!

Yeah, I know what you mean - when I wfh, I might not see another person for days.

I overreached myself today, I'm trying to put on weight after illness but had a steamed chocolate pudding with tons of clotted cream.

The stomach pain wasn't worth it.

Oh no @SheepAndSword - are you sensitive to dairy?
I don’t eliminate it from my diet but I do have crippling stomach pains and a rather urgent need to get to the toilet quite soon after eating things like ice cream or clotted cream!

@TheChosenTwo no dairy allergy, I was being a glutton and forgot my hospital dietician's advice to take putting the weight back on slowly 😆

Turns out that was too much fat and sugar at once, but I do have pain medication if needed.

@wishfulsinful @FatmanandKnobbin @TheChosenTwo It's not too bad at the moment, I've just signed up for an archery course starting next week so that'll get me out a bit at least. I don't watch much TV, I read quite a lot but haven't got much time at the moment, I decided since I can't get out I'd declutter the whole house was a bigger job than I thought😅

I love a bit of decluttering! People in my house say if they don’t nail down their stuff it gets decluttered 😂
enjoy the archery, I’ve only don’t it once when we were away in Northern Ireland, thought it might be fun for the kids - turned out to be game of thrones themed and we were in full costume - none of us had ever seen it before - and it resulted in me losing and dh chopping my head off! Quite good fun but we all had bruised arms 😆
