What ‘nice’ things could I add to visiting niece and nephew’s guest room?

Niece (12 girl) and nephew (14 boy) are coming to stay for the weekend- parents are leaving them with us. We’ve prepared a room each for them but I’d like to put some extra bits in there for each one.
What would your 12 and 14 yr olds appreciate and find homely?

That’s really sweet of you. What about a few snack things so if they are hungry they don’t feel shy to ask for food?

possibly pads in the girl’s room? I just remember the trauma about this age of having one of my early periods while away from home & having to get up the courage to ask the mum for something to use.

phone chargers, although I suppose you’d have to know what phone they have!

I always put a little snack basket in the guest room with things they like in. Saves them from asking for food if they get peckish. Always gets eaten!
