What is this household item?

We've just unpacked after a year of most of our stuff being in storage and I can't for the life of me think what this is for. It doesn't stand flat. Seems to be too wide for pot lids or trays.

Toddler DD has taken a liking to it and helped with the modelling.

Storing pans, chopping boards inside a cupboard?

Magazine/newspaper rack?

I first thought pans or trays but the gaps seem too wide and it wobbles, it doesn't sit flat. Almost like it rests in something.

Not newspapers or magazines, never really kept them!

At the moment it's DD's favourite toy so maybe it will have a use after all

Is it a pizza rack for cooking multiple pizza at once??? Cos I've got one lurking in the back of my cupboard too 😂😂

Is it a bit from inside an oven, a bbq or an air fryer?

Or even inside a tumble dryer? Ours came with a useless attachment supposedly for drying shoes.

Shouldn't it be upright?

I think it goes in a corner cupboard, open like a book and you slide saucepans into it.

Cracked it! It came to me in the middle of the night, I think it was the comments about it being upright in a corner. It's for our pizza trays! Thank you!
