Hey 👋 anyones opinions appreciated... Our grandson has been falling out with a boy at school name calling each other nothing physical... Both 10 years of age the other boy last week approached our younger grandaughter who is 7 in the playground telling her to have a word with her brother about his behaviour... We didn't think this was acceptable involving his younger sister mum told her teacher who said she would have a word with the boy in question.... Today when dad was collecting the children from school the boy with his mum nearby him obviously aware of what he was saying .. approached our grandsons father and asked for a private word without our grandson present... and asked dad to speak to him because they keep falling out.. This just seems unacceptable for a boy to be doing this... Mum & dad tend to let the children figure arguments out themselves with school freinds.... enemy's one day and best freinds the following day. Obviously they would intervene if things got out of hand... Just seems bizarre behaviour... Why doesn't he go to a teacher and let them deal with the situation...never heard of a child asking for a private conversation with a parent.. While mum is stood adjacent to him....

It sounds like your grandson is possibly bullying the other boy if he’s felt the need, with the support of his parent, to come and speak to the adult collecting him.
