Looking to hire rug doctor from local b&q but the solution is abit pricey

Anyone make their own and did it work?

Thanks: )

I know I'm missing the point but have you seen the reviews of Rug Doctor? I nearly hired one till I read them on Trust Pilot...totally put me off. 😊

I think it’s fine to put your own solution in your own machine, but what do their T’s & C’s say? If it ruins the machine, or the next persons carpets, will you be held liable if they find it’s down to home made solution*? If it ruins your carpets it will also be a bit of a false economy.
*(don’t say how will they know/find out. I just wouldn’t risk it.
I know someone who has their own laundry business and if people tried to blame them for ruined items they absolutely would send for testing and recoup costs if found for other reasons)
