Brain fog??

Does anyone ever get this where they have a million kings to do but their brain feels so foggy that nothing gets done?!

It is also partly tiredness but this is my first day kid free since half term and I wanted to get organised and motivated and it's just not happened!

I have brain fog constantly although it's due to a medical condition combined with ADHD.

Best solutions I've found for things like tasks and routines are using lists and alarm reminders along with trying to do something as soon as it pops in my mind as opposed to thinking "oh I'll do that later" because I'll inevitably forget.

To help in the long term, my doctor recommended brain training apps, I use the peak one on my phone, I honestly do think it has helped a bit, not massively but I have seen an improvement.

I had this quite badly for a long time and it was related to an underactive thyroid. I've also had it after long periods of stress, often when the stress has passed and I'm a bit more rested physically but my brain turns stupid for a while.

Yeah I've had it before when I've been extremely tired. 😕

I'm interested in these recommendations. What is better because of them, if you don't mind me asking?

@Wallywobbles I'm also interested in the benefits if you don't mind sharing?

No more brain fog. Literally amazing.

They are also multi vitamins but they have some extra stuff in them.

Just a warning if anyone has brain fog due to auto immune rather than stress or insomnia etc:

Auto-immune diseases such as multiple sclerosis (MS), lupus (systemic lupus erythematosus, SLE), rheumatoid arthritis (RA), pemphigus vulgaris (a skin condition), and others: Lion's mane mushroom might cause the immune system to become more active, and this could increase the symptoms of auto-immune diseases.
