CBeebies Land & Hotel in summer holidays

Contemplating booking an overnight here during the summer holidays for my DS who will be turning 5 and his 7 year old sis.

Just wondering how horrendously busy it will be in the hols?

Would a weekend outside of holidays be any better or would we have to do a school day for it to be tolerable.

Just curious about likely queue times during peak days as not been to Alton Towers since I was a teenager.

Any hints or advice would be massively appreciated ☺️

I'd take them out of school for a couple of days at that age. It's ridiculously busy in summer and during holidays these days, to the extent that it's not really worth going.

Is there a benefit ie that you would be allowed early access to Alton towers? If not you'd be paying a heck of a lot to just stay in a themed room which is absolutely fine but not a choice I would make. We often stay at a premier inn at Trentham Gardens when we go to Alton towers. You can visit the Trentham Gardens and a monkey forest and there are lots of shops nearby and plenty of nice places to eat at.

We went to alton towers in early May (we went a day before schools broke up in Scotland) and it was heaving with school groups and families. The wait for some rides in cbeebies land was up to an hour and we got in dead on opening time. We did all of cbeebies land, watched a few shows and did a few rides in the rest of the park. It was a glorious day when we went so perhaps that was why. I'd always go during term time if possible.

Thanks so much for the replies. I thought that would probably be the case that it would only be worth going in term time.
