Blond highlights too light

So I went to a new hairdresser for my ombré highlights on my dark blond hair and the highlights are too light.

I'm going again in a couple of hours but I'm not exactly sure what to say - if there are any hair dressers here, please tell me if it makes sense to say 'the highlights are too light, please can you do some thin highlights with my natural colour (6.3) and put 8.3 on the bits that are too light'?

Hi what happened went back? A hairdresser has done that to me last week. She uses a high lift tint because I didn’t want bleach. She left it on way too long and I have white highlights! She’s put a dark toner on my hair to try and disguise what she’s done. But slowly I’m getting white highlights that look like white hair coming through which is way too light compared to the rest of my hair! She won’t reply to me, she works from home. I don’t know what to do!
