by Sharon Van Etten ruins me every time. It's an amazing performance.

On a much more light and gentle note there's by Cocteau Twins. It's like a warm hug and it always makes me smile.

God there's so many.

But i heard U2's Unforgettable Fire recently for the first time in years and i was transported back to the late 80s. Teenage me standing in the dark and the rain on my own at a train station miles and miles from home after an unpleasant time with a 'boyfriend' 😔

Listened to Manic Street Preachers The Everlasting the other week and had to turn it off halfway through as it made me feel devastated. I have no idea why it made me feel like this and I am slightly worried about how I am going to react when I see them live in concert in a few weeks!

On a positive note, Together in Electric Dreams is my happy song and I always sing along to it (tunelessly, I can’t hold a note)

The Other Woman by Julia Fordham. The reasons are obvious but I was young and foolish then.
It still manages to stir up memories though.
