Whilst we’re talking about it - UPF or not UPF?

Three separate ingredient lists here of things that I’ll eat this week and just idly wondered whether I should be … but looking at ingredients and assuming pasta processed rather than ultra processed, I think maybe they’re OK actually.

So … UPF or not?

I wouldn't consider these upf personally as I recognise all of the ingredients and could find them in a normal household kitchen - although I'd rather olive than veg or rapeseed oils.

So not upf but of course everything is better if you make it from scratch which I think you could all these.

I'd eat them and I'm pretty fussy.

Not

Yes, I could make them myself and no doubt will - just suited me this week - but then I’ll end up eating the same thing for days, as I’d make too big a batch, rather than having the different ones.🤣

Despite this post, I am normally a ‘cook from scratcher’.

Have recently discovered this as a pantry back-up, and again this seems to entirely pass muster. Good that there is some decent convenience stuff available, even if I don’t use it often.
