Because my house apparently belongs to a 70 year old woman.

A man called to the house looking for me by name. My husband answered the door and said I was out. The man asked him was he my son!!!

For referent I'm 45! Our house is small but I'm not sure what exactly gives older woman vibes!

Do you have lots of Knick knacks?

I've just put wallpaper up in a few areas, and have redecorated in a way that I think gives the house more character. My dc say it's giving old lady vibes 😂

That's bizarre. I wouldn't give it too much headspace though. Some people are rather obtuse and perhaps your name is Janet or Carol and you have net curtains or garden ornaments that remind your visitor of his nan?!

I reckon my house pigeonholes me as early middle aged, not very well off, mildly unconventional and definitely female: correct on all counts 😊
