What are the BEST salt and vinegar crisps

I absolutely love the flavour but frequently find they are never strong enough.

I'm talking tongue tingly, upper lip sweat inducing, super duper strong salt and vinegar flavour.

What are your best recommendations? So far the strongest I've found is Co-op sea salt and chardonnay, but they seem weaker than they used to be 😫

Hit me up if you know a better one!

I buy the salt and balsamic vinegar ones, own brand

Grendacious · 10/06/2024 16:21

From your title I was coming to say co-op! No other suggestions, sorry!

Lidl have some cider vinegar ones I think they are ridge cut

i like those and a big bag is like 1.25 or something

in fact all their crisps are great

Ahhhhhbisto · 10/06/2024 16:22

I know they probably don't count but Pringles or Disco's!

Gettingannoyednow · 10/06/2024 16:22

Squares.

Sux2buthen · 10/06/2024 16:22

Discos

Tyrell’s cider vinegar and sea salt are lovely. But I’m a Tyrell’s crisp fan all round.

WallaceinAnderland · 10/06/2024 16:23

Co-op. Even the hardcore s&v lovers can't handle them sometimes.

WallaceinAnderland · 10/06/2024 16:24

You might have numbed your taste buds with them OP 😂

SulkySeagull · 10/06/2024 16:24

Discos if you don’t want any skin left on the roof of your mouth

Discos

Omg yes I used to love these at school! They did pickled onion flavour once and my goodness they burnt my tongue, they were fabulous! 😂

The McCoy's salt and vinegar ridged ones will burn your tongue off. As will large quantities of Discos, Squares or the Co-op ones you mention.

circular2478 · 10/06/2024 16:25

The co-op ones are the best that I've tasted.

pumpkinpiee · 10/06/2024 16:25

Came here to say Co-op!

Keoghs. Nothing else will do.

MuseKira · 10/06/2024 16:26

McCoys!

bunnypenny · 10/06/2024 16:27

The co-op ones are the best by a country mile (the Asda ones mentioned up thread don’t give blisters like the co-op ones)

but there’s also REAL sea salt and malt vinegar, haven’t had them in a while but from memory they hurt. REAL

AlisonDonut · 10/06/2024 16:27

For anyone coming to France, try Brets S&V. Love them.

Bells3032 · 10/06/2024 16:28

I would say the sensations ones are the strongest but never had the co-op ones!

Yes! I completely agree with this
