Kitchen sinks that aren't stainless steel

I've always had stainless steel kitchen sinks but need a new tap and decided to change the sink at the same time. Fancy a black or beige one but undecided what material to choose. We wash up everything by hand so pots, pans, sharp knives etc. will all be going in it. Also have very hard water so limescale is an issue. What's best for not getting scratched and easy to keep clean? Liked a Franke black Tectonite one but then read that that is likely to scratch and ceramic is a better choice, but also like this granite one. Any recommendations?

We've got a black sink and I've regretted it ever since we've had it. We live in a hard water area and it's permanently marked. The only way to make it look decent is to oil it. I really wish we'd gone for stainless steel or at least a light colour so the marks wouldn't show!

i have white sink, purquartz - installed two years ago. I use cream bleach to clean it once a week. I use turmeric daily for curries etc so and it's easily to remove the stains.
