Random letter

Received this in the post today - addressed to ‘the occupier’ at my address. Postmark shows it’s come from Birmingham, nothing else to suggest who has sent it. Just fascinated to know who is sending these and why our address (we’re not in or near Birmingham). Has anyone else received one?

JW letter, get them every year.

I've had several of these . . . I think they're from Jehovah's Witnesses. One of my ex-colleagues is a JW and she told me they started writing letters during lockdown as they were unable to do door-to-door visits. I think every JW has to do a quota of contacts with non-believers but I can't remember the reason for this so perhaps a housebound JW has sent the letter

I got a couple over Covid lockdown.

The second had a number so I messaged asking them not to send them any more as I found it intrusive, and they stopped.

Interesting, thanks for your replies - sets my mind at rest as part of me was thinking was this someone I know targeting my household (Jewish, but not practising) specifically. We have actually had JWs knock the door since moving to this house (never happened at previous addresses) so they’re perhaps interested in gaining new members in this area for some reason …..

Although I've seen JWs send these types of letters, this won't be from them, they don't use a cross (believe Jesus died on a stake) and also don't believe in heaven they believe in a paradise on earth.
