"Come dressed as your favourite phrase" costume ideas

I've been invited to a 30th birthday party for which guests are being asked to come dressed as their favourite phrase! Wracking my brains for ideas but can't think of anything particularly good. I don't want to be too OTT because I'll have to wear it on a train for 2 hours.

You could be an elephant. The elephant in the room.

Have a massive sack full of polystyrene labelled "COAL" and carry a roadmap with a route marked in black heading for the northeast of England.

Drag a random man around with you who's been instructed to introduce himself as "Robert, your mum's brother".

Chew some gum and tell people it's a particularly resilient pork chop rind from lunch.

Martial arts outfit, don't speak to anyone and throat chop anyone that speaks to you and on your way out, kick their front door in.

Could wrap bandages around your leg

good excuse to make people wait on you 😝

LOL, put lots of stick on musical notes around the crotch area of your trousers and go as Beat Around The Bush 😁

Curiosity killed the cat

Carry a toy cat under your arm and when someone asks you what you're meant to be, burst into tears and say they've killed the cat!

All that glistens isn't gold... just a gold dress and cover your arms and legs with gold body paint? You could put your paint on when you get there

A little bird told me.
Bring along a life size garden ornament of a Robin and pepper your conversation with 'Robby told me that!'

Take a hat and keep dropping it.....at the drop of a hat.

Take a bucket and keep kicking it.....kicked the bucket.

Wear red gloves......caught red handed.

Wear a headband with lots of different weather symbols on it.....under the weather.

I would pick a phrase to fit what I wanted / had available to wear.

There’s no accounting for taste.

I don't actually like fancy dress, but as I don't have to dress up, it's fun theme to speculate on.

Bear costume. Tree branch. Yes sign.
