Swiftness out there

After hearing of people queue from early hours to get a good spot, do they take ant diuretics or something. I am from a gig culture that you just push to the front and can't imagine going through a full set without a wee never mind from early morning or even entrance time. Normally go wee and fight back in.
Just curious.

Swifties obviously. Autocorrect fail.

I was thinking about this too, because once you're in the queue you can't leave and some people joined at 5:30am yesterday!! Is it like NYE on times square and they are wearing adult nappies?

I don't go to the loo much but I couldn't 12+ hours without a loo break.

On the news they spoke to the two girls at the front of the queue in Edinburgh. They had numbers on their hands. I assume that is so they could go away and use the loo/get food then come back to their spot in the queue.

Was thinking that might be fine before doors but after does (say 6pm) and everyone runs to the front till end of set (say 11.00) is nobody going to the toilet?

Not Taylor Swift but I went to a stadium concert this week and didn’t go to the loo at all - went before left the house at 5pm, then went when I got back to my SIL’s house after the concert (30-ish minutes walk from the stadium). Bladder of steel, and I’m in my forties, so I’m sure the youths will be fine 😆

I'm in aw. I have needed the toilet frequently since I was young. Think it's a psychological thing. Sometimes I go and don't pee much at all. But even the thought of no toilet makes me need.

Surely you’re not queuing alone so you just take turns? That’s what me and my friend did when we went to see One Direction 10 years ago!

If it was a number 13, then that's a Swiftie thing, not anything to do with the queue.

We went to Stockholm a few weeks ago. We then had to go back to the venue on the Sunday to collect our VIP boxes. Got there at about 9am and the queue for that night was already massive, at least 500 people.

ApolloandDaphne · 09/06/2024 08:47

@TravellingSpoon it was numbers 1 & 2 as they were the first two in line. I know the 13 reference. I have two massive Swifties of my own who were there on Friday!

CrapBucket · 09/06/2024 08:51

In the 90s I was at the front to see U2 at Wembley and I just didn’t drink all day, I think it is easier the younger you are 🤣

Ah okay 😍

That is quite a good system. And good on them for having the tenacity!
