Netherlands with a teen

We are visiting Amsterdam, The Hague, Vlissengen and Ghent and wondered if anyone has any specific recommendations for teens that we should check out?

We will be exploring on bikes and foot and have access to a car too. We have had a lovely rooftop bar suggested for a sunset in Amsterdam and plan to see Anne Frank's house and check out museums. As a family we are open to all experiences so if anyone has any tips I would really appreciate you sharing! Thanks in advance.

I love Ghent, though I'm pretty sure it's in Belgium 😆
The altarpiece at St Bavo’s cathedral is one of my favourite things in the world. The castle has a pretty good comedy audio tour, there are boat trips on the canals, but it's a lovely place to just wander round. Beautiful streets and lots of street art.

Just did Amsterdam with teens. There are some helpful threads on here if you search. Also check this good blog: https://amsterdamwonderland.com/about/

Anne Frank excellent but make sure you’ve booked as tickets sell out 6 weeks in advance.

We also did a canal boat tour and The Swing at A’dam lookout (see TravelMan episode on that). Both recommended. The ferry to the A’dam lookout is free and it was nice exploring a different part rather than the more standard canal streets.

Had a great steak at Cafe Lotje.

Nice to potter around 9 Streets. Or hire a bike. Or pick one the market spots. Lots of food stalls there etc.

If into art, Rijksmuseum but we didn’t do it as figured we would need most of the day there to do it properly.
