Bury Market or International Bomber Command Centre at Lincoln.

Has anyone been? What's it like?

I was due to go on a coach trip tomorrow with my mum and sister to Yorkshire but its been cancelled today. As well as reimbursing the tickets they have offered us another free day trip.

My sister has seen Bury Market or the International Bomber Command Centre at Lincoln. I think my preference would be Bury market - unless it is just a market full of tat!

Can anyone tell me if either of them are worth a visit?

I live in Bury, the market is ok, lots of different stalls from meat and produce to clothes and home wear but the indoor market is closed because they found RAAC in the roof, all the stalls have been moved elsewhere in the town Center.
It’s also usually really busy on a Saturday so if you don’t like crowds it’s not the best.
The shopping centre is pretty decent as well.

Bury market is great.

I think it is now of case of Bury market used to be great but with the indoor market closed and the stalls elsewhere it is not the same. Where I live they have suspended the coach trips to the market as people are now so disappointed with how it is and waiting for things to go back to normal.
Yes Bury is a nice shopping centre but not quite as it was.

I was there (pre Covid) and thought it was indeed just hundreds of stalls full of tat. It may have changed since then..

I'm from Bury bur not been up there for a few years. Sad to hear the market isn't the fantastic place it used to be. It really was the best market I've ever known. So many stalls and such great food too.
