Coinstar Machines

Has anyone used one of these machines in a supermarket?

I've SO many coins around and can't be bothered to sort them and count them out.

I'd like to throw them all in the neck of one of these Coinstar machines.

However, I'm sure that there must be some foreign currency in with them. What happens to these? Do they get swallowed up and not reimbursed or are they thrown out for you to take away?

Thanks!

They just get chucked back out again!

These are really good and you can watch them being counted up on screen. There is a small fee to pay depending on the amount counted.
You receive cash, less the fee, or a full voucher to spend in the store where the machine is, if I remember correctly. A few years back now but it was surprising how much it added up.
Foreign coins can be given to some charity shops, they exchange and get money for their cause.
