I am looking to redecorate my bedroom, and looking for some suggestions as to what colours/paint/wallpaper to use as I am not very good at this sort of thing!
The room is about 15' by 17' with fitted light oak coloured wardrobes and dressing table which I will keep. I intend to replace the existing beige carpet with a light oak wooden floor, and replace the curtains with shutters.
There is an attached dressing area which is about 7'8" by 6'10". This has cupboards in a lighter colour, with hand painted lilac/purple flowers on the doors. Looks nicer than it sounds!
Due to these flowers, I am minded to go with purple/lilac walls, at least in part.The walls at the moment are a neutral colour.
Just wondered really if anyone had any bright ideas? Is it best to have one wall with a patterned paper, and the others painted, or just go for all paint? Any suggestions for papers/paint that might work together?
Appreciate that I sound a bit pathetic, but I just don't have any ideas!!
