Are there people who will sell on ecay for you?

My siblings & I have inherited my uncle’s collection of photographic video and film making equipment. Things like cameras, video cameras, booms, tripods,trolleys, grips etc. a cursory look at eBay indicates there is a marketplace for this stuff in the low hundreds per many items .

None of us have any experience in selling on eBay, or specialist photography/film sites, I live abroad so can’t help much, is there such a thing in UK as a service where someone lists on eBay for you in return for a cut of the sale? Or can you suggest any other ideas? Thanks

You could contact your local auction company & ask them to provide a free estimate

They can sell for you & you set a minimum price for sale

The auction company, will take their commission after the sale

I know an auction house that specialises in camera equipment. They are called Flints and are based in Berkshire but I'm pretty sure they can travel to collect if it's a big collection.
