Couldn't find a thread..
Mum and I have been watching during the day.
Ds2 is watching too. I think it is SO important that future generations understand.
Ds2 knows a lot about WW1 as he is named after Wilfred Owen but he is now learning more about WW2 as well.

I thought the BBC coverage was very well done and very moving.
The lady talking about her father who never made it home. She was 9 at the time of D Day. And the veteran talking about his friends who also never came home.
