Hi, wondering if anyone can help me understand something re my sons brace journey. We saw the otherodontist for the 3rd time today to see if he was ready for braces. He's 12. She said the case is too complex and needs to be done under a hospital now.
She said today his top row of teeth sits 13mm in front of the bottom row and he also has alot of overcrowding. First step is jaw work? Im assuming this doesnt mean they need to break his jaw? Repositioning? How? If you or your child had this under a hospital, what did it entail? Its a minimum 12 week wait to hear from hospital so would just like an idea.
