Boisdales of Belgravia.

Quirky and old school. Regular live jazz.

Inamo is quirky - the table tops are interactive and there’s a ‘chef cam’ where you can watch your meal being made.

Whereabouts in London? If you are central, Covent Garden, Rules hits the brief on oldest and quirky (and is fairly smart). Frog (also in Covent Garden) is pricy and quirky but I did have a great meal there recently. If you want completely over the top Sarastro is an experience - haven't been for years but the erotic art in the loos was something to behold!
