Mum has forgotten my birthday!

Today is my birthday. My mum had a minor operation yesterday and we have been texting back and forth about how she is etc. But she hasn’t mentioned my birthday. I’m giggling to myself about how mortified she will be when she realises… obviously has different things to think about…

I've a suggestion if you're local to her, buy a birthday cake and take it round. You can broach it with humour and enjoy the cake together with a cuppa 😁 happy birthday!
