Is Alton towers water park any good for teens?

coming from northern Scotland for a trip to Alton towers. I see there is also a water park, never heard of it before , is it worth doing a day at each?

100% we did a day at each and loved it. One of the better ones we've been too if I'm honest. We recently did the one in Blackpool and its rubbish in comparison

Thank you. We have one day which I think English schools are not on holiday ( a Friday) do you think better to do that day at water park or at the main park? The other day will obviously be a Saturday so a busy day

Mm I think both could be as busy as each other on a Saturday. I'd do the park on the weekday and swimming Saturday but only because my teen loves the smiler and so would have to que less. Depends which one yours would prefer longer ques on rides or water slides
