I passed my driving test! I’m too embarrassed to tell people IRL so I’m telling MN

I’m 32 and feel a bit stupid telling people I’ve passed my test when most people do it as teenagers or early 20s. I’ve really lost confidence in myself over the years so I’m actually really pleased with myself for passing first time. I feel like I’m not completely useless for once. Please share your good news too!

Congratulations op!
I'll be 32 when I pass mine (hopefully) my theory is done and dusted.

Well done - I passed first time when I was 52 and I couldn't wait to tell everyone 😊

BlessedBeTheFruitCake · 06/06/2024 17:29

Well done that’s a great achievement ⭐️

Congratulations . My test was probably easier when I passed at 19- no theory test , no parallel parking .

people love something to celebrate .. you should share 🥳🥳🥳

VikingLady · 06/06/2024 17:42

Congratulations! I was in my 40s, for comparison 😂

Fontainebleau007 · 06/06/2024 17:46

Congratulations!!! I'm 32 and am only just thinking of getting lessons, I live in the country and it's something I need to do. Don't feel embarrassed at all, I know many people who still haven't or did it on this 30's and 40's! Be proud of yourself x

Fontainebleau007 · 06/06/2024 17:48

Sorry "in their" stupid typo 😂

FyodorDForever · 06/06/2024 19:41

I’m an instructor, just got back from teaching my 47 year old student. Loads of people do it later, there’s absolutely no shame in it.

Tell the world, we all need good news!

CoNgRaTuLaTiOns!!!!

I lived in NZ as a teenager, I got my full (not provisional, no restrictions) licence at 15. Yes FIFTEEN.

I still think yours is MORE of an achievement in your 30's. I'm glad I learnt when I was so full of confidence & no fear!

(they don't do it like that in NZ now). Enjoy the freedom & convenience!! Will you have regular access to a car?

Well done!!!!
