Change of school one year into A Level…creative arts teachers help!!

We are considering a house move due to DH’s job. He is currently doing weekenders and as busy family of 5 we are all feeling the strain.

Eldest DD is one year through her A levels and we are all in agreement that a school move would would be good for her as she is having issues with teaching (continual staff absences, not being fairly represented in one of of her all male (inc teacher) classes amongst other things)

I won’t go into the bonuses of us moving, apart from being closer to DH but it would benefit us all greatly.

Our only issue is finding a school to match DD course like for like is proving incredibly difficult. She is doing A level Art, Ctech Perf arts and ASL music.

My question is how easy would it be transfer/change over? I wouldn’t want her to go below what she is already doing but for example, could she mover from ASL music to A level music or CTECH PA to BTECH?

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not familiar with asl music.

It sounds like she has a fairly non-standard group of courses she is doing,

Many sixth forms only offer a levels or IB or BTECs.

Places that specialise in music/performing arts are rare.

The general advice is that switching kid-course can be difficult on the other hand if her current school is not good...

She'd be better re-starting year 12 tbh.

You can’t easily move from Ctec to BTEC or even necessarily from one centre doing BTEC to another - of course she’s learnt things that will be really useful but they might well do different units in a completely different order even if it’s the same course. Even in my college we often shuffle about the order we do units if we feel one works better as a second year unit for example.
