Hahha it’s fantastic isn’t it. The chemistry between the leads is brilliant to watch and Emma Thomson is phenomenal playing such a complex character.

CornishTeaTime · 03/06/2024 21:58

Loved the whole dynamic of them. Emma T was awesome, she has some guts to get it all out...she was totally brilliant!
The storyline wasnt at all what I expected, so heartwarming, funny, emotional.

That guy is soooo foxy. Have you seen him in Bad Sisters?

CornishTeaTime · 04/06/2024 14:11

I loved that movie as well. Emma Thompson is amazing- she really 'went there' with the nakedness and sex scenes. Love the Leo grande actor too; he was perfect in the role

Yozzer87 · 04/06/2024 14:28

I thought it was boring, cringy in places, couldn't finish it. The male actor was hot though.

MariaLuna · 04/06/2024 14:31

I loved it!

CornishTeaTime · 04/06/2024 15:21

If your not in Emma's age group I reckon you prob wouldnt get it/relate. 10/10 for me

Watched it 18m ago. Blew me away.
Watched it again last week:Cried again!
ET is tremendous. Male actor / story also very good / layered / thoughtful.
Am thinking of having a very select 'film night' with 3 girlfriends when my Divorce comes through. LG & fizz!

Added it to my Netflix list to watch at the weekend - thanks for the recommendation. I loved him in Bad Sisters.

He was in The Woman in The Wall last year on bbc1 and was really good in it and I see he has been cast in the new Knives Out film, Wake Up Dead Man.
