Security tag M&S

I’m a new subscriber…
I think someone may have had this issue and help me how to deal with this problem
I ordered a few tops online with M&S
I intend to keep all three , however one has the security tag still attached..
mm& s isn’t convenient to me, hence the online shopping with them
There’s no returns label/ invoice in the bag

Do you have any other shops local? Some will remove the tag if you show them a receipt/invoice.

You need to go into your account to initiate a return.

Youtube video using two forks back to back worked for me. Otherwise a local m and s food can sort it.

M&S customer service is your best bet.

I don't think they send delivery notes any longer it is all in your account or on their website how to return an item or contact them.

Some years ago ….

I paid for, got a receipt, and walked out of Waterstones with a book that still had security tag attached. I’ve no idea why it didn’t trigger the bookshop alarm but I heard an alarm when I walked next door into Boots.

I checked my purchases and lo and behold, tag was on the book. Kind assistant in Boots removed the tag. So, with a receipt, maybe a more local shop will take off the tag for you?

Happened to me at M & S on an expensive jacket. I rang them and they told me I must not try and take it off myself as the garment could get ruined by the contents of the tag.
Luckily I was able to take it back and they also gave me a "gift" although I can't remember what it was.

You should have email details of the purchase as well as on your account. It will be easy to prove that you have bought it.
