I'm just rewatching The Walking Dead I forgot how great the early episodes were!! But I remember hating Lori and Andrea first time through and I know they are generally disliked. This time though I'm completely with them. They make mistakes but are always doing their best and trying to do the right thing.

Same with Skylar in Breaking Bad - hated as a character by fans but she behaves amazingly considering what WW put her through!

I know there is a hefty dose of misogyny which probably influenced that because they really weren't written or acted as evil characters.

I flip flop on Carrie Bradshaw every time I rewatch SATC. I've been watching it for over 25 years and I'm now older than her (not counting AJLT!) and see her behaviour very differently to how I used to.

Anyone have any other character revelations from rewatching or rereading anything?

Fairly traumatised watching Saturday Night Fever as an adult.
