Oooh poor you op. I have been there. Only thing that helped me was getting my socket packed by dentist with minging clove and stuff dressing. Clove oil on tooth helped a bit. And codeine.

What have you taken for it?

Cocodamol and ibuprofen x

I have a cough and had it for over a month. My chest is tight and I can't sleep. I need to bite the bullet and see a doc but I know they won't do anything.

Try and get some Orajel at a pharmacy tomorrow - the 20% Lidocaine one if poss. And/or Anbesol gel with Lidocaine.

I had this a while ago and had to fork out £150 for an emergency drill & fill which is only a temporary filling - but the relief was very welcome.

Can't get an NHS dentist anywhere. Sigh.

I had a cough like that - GP said it was post nasal drip and it would go away. And it did. But it was such a long haul.

In the past when I've had toothache using clove oil has really helped settle the tooth down until I can get to a dentist. Orajel is good when you need to ease the pain after eating but does not last long enough to get to sleep.

A cotton wool bud with clove oil works wonders but does make your mouth water and the oil will burn your lips if you Are not careful...

Yes oil of cloves is excellent.
