Ordered 12 packs of laminate flooring and 5 have a yellow sticker and don't fit?

Anyone come across this?

It seems to be the same flooring, same colour, same brand, same packaging.

But 5 of them have yellow stickers on the end of them and different serial numbers to the others.

I have a professional laminate layer here and he's opened a stickered pack and it just won't click into the others. The first 6 all went together smoothly.

Are they different types? Different batches?

The website says to return items you have to pay £50 plus VAT. But surely not if the laminate won't fit together?

I've got a feeling they're going to say they're no different but I watched him slide the first packs together with no issues but the yellow sticker pack just will not fit to the others.

Also it's leaderfloors which have really bad customer service reviews when things go bad so am nervous!

Am I within my rights to ask them to return and replace these with ones that fit without any further cost to myself?

They're different sizes!

The sizes of the sq m per pack aren't even the same so I'd love to see how they could possibly same they were the same.
They don't really have a leg to stand on

What did you order?

Tell them they haven't sent 10 identical packs. You haven't got what you ordered and the yellow stickered product isn't a match to the rest. Leave it at that. If laminate is like anything else, you're advised to use the same batch for a job.

12 packs of one item.

The delivery was delayed and the guy said they would have to split the order from 2 warehouses.

So I think they're different at each warehouse.

And don't let them say you can't return it because it's been opened. They haven't sent what you ordered.

This is what I ordered.

So the ones with the yellow sticker aren't the same size as what I ordered.

They should be the same size and batch number, but you know that.
Get them to collect them and deliver what you ordered, at no extra cost to you.

I will call first thing Monday.
