Twickets- trustworthy?

Morning all- I've found some tickets on Twickets for a concert this week, but I've never heard of this site till I looked on Mumsnet. Really want to go, but don't want to lose money. Can anyone reassure me? How does it work? Do the tickets need to be posted? emailed? One set is for tomorrow night!

Why don't you look at their review on Trustpilot to see what they are like? I think some reviews also say how tickets are received too.

I could, but love MN wise words. The concern I have is two seats row E are in double the price of two seats in row F and I'm worried those row F are too good to be true

I've bought tickets on Twickets many times and never had any problems. You have buyer protection on there should anything go wrong and you didn't receive the tickets in time.

Twickets is the official resale site for many of the big ones isn’t it?

viagogo is the one to avoid!

Desparate mum in need of taylor swift tickets cardiff. My dd who has MANY challenges feels she is ready to face them. She loves taylor swift so much she is prepared to go WAY out of her comfort zone to see her....... But we dont have tickets. If anyone has tickets for carfiff tickets they want to see please please please consider us. Thank you x

Used twickets a couple of times. Tickets have to be face value or less. You create an account, select the tickets, pay via PayPal, tickets usually transfer to your email address. I haven't had any issues

For those looking for Taylor tickets that ship has sailed unless you can swap. No one is going to give them up unless there is a catastrophe in the family. It's the #1 ticket and everyone is going. It's an expensive ticket £200(?) So unlikely to be cheap. Any out there on Viagogo Tec are being sold on to make a profit or a scam imo. Arguing the point they are valid outside the venue is too late.

I sold a Chelsea Flower Show ticket on Twickets a few weeks ago and it's the only website that Chelsea allow you to use for re-sale of their tickets so that seems a very good endorsement to me. I think it's because it's always face value or less, and Chelsea don't want their tickets sold for (anyone else's) profit.

Twickets states face value or less. If there is profit going on those tickets something is wrong. Are the ones in F being offered for less or were the tickets subject to dynamic pricing?

Twickets is great, have bought and sold many times on there with no issue. It usually explains how you will get the ticket — most are mobile transfer these days. Face values can vary a lot with some premium seats etc. But it’s FV only on Twickets plus a little to cover fees.

I also have never had a problem with viagogo and I’ve bought loads on there. I also know some sellers of TS on there are genuine although the warnings would also make me wary with such large amounts. Mostly they are dealers and are holding out for a big profit I think .

ididntthough · 01/06/2024 14:53

I should add, I have read bad things about others’ experiences so I have probably just been lucky.

You can't sell unless through an official channel,

tryingsomethingnew · 01/06/2024 15:03

Thanks all. I'll go for it now you have explained how it works and I've read how the tickets will come to me. Is not heard about it before but seems very good- face value or less. Thanks!!
