We're driving to Manchester next week and have to call in at Penkridge on the way.

Does anyone know of anywhere nice in that area we could have lunch?

Penkridge is very close to Acton Trussell, which has been on TV recently with The Motorway Hotel. The Moathouse is beautiful and you really wouldn't know the motorway is there (it's not really)! www.moathouse.co.uk

Otherwise the Littleton in Penkridge itself isn't too bad at all either.

In the end we pushed on to Manchester with just a coffee. It was torrential rain and we just wanted to get there.
