How is your Friday night going?

The kids have just gone to bed so I've poured a wine, opened a (large) bar of chocolate and have trash tv on.....

BLISS

I was WFH today so had a lovely bubble bath straight after and got into comfy clothes. DP ordered us a takeaway pizza about 8, and after that he’s been playing X Box while I watched BGT and did a bit of pottering in the garden. I also had a little kitchen disco with the cat to the Indie Forever show on BBC6 Music. I’ve had a shitty cold all week so looking forward to a long lie tomorrow and hopefully a bacon sandwich brought to me in bed.

DH and I have been to the opening of a friend’s new bar. Had a few cocktails so am now home
feeling a bit pissed, in bed scrolling on my phone. DH is downstairs watching tv with the dog.

DD1 is in her room with her boyfriend playing Xbox.

DD2 is asleep as she’s got an early start in the morning

We're (my 19 year old DD and me) watched The Durrells - three episodes while eating dinner and then she went up to bed, I took the dogs out for a walk and now here I am scrolling MN! I'm on a diet so no lovely glass of wine 😩.

It's quiet here, watching a TV program on my phone.

My Friday evening is just starting (4.30 pm here). All my kids are staying with friends. I've got my jammies on. I'm going to have some wine & clean my house and catch up on my favorite podcast. Watch what crappens. My husband is getting the BBQ fired up to cook us some salmon for dinner. It's not very exciting but perfect & chilled
