Poop issue

Hi all, last few
months I have noticed poo residue when I wipe when I haven’t even opened bowels. It’s horrible. I would wipe after wee and there is some residue of poo, sorry tmi! Not a piece but just some residue if that makes sense. I thought I wasn’t cleaning properly but now using water and wet wipes and still having this issue so it’s not adequate cleaning. I did check with the tip
of my finger and can always feel poo just there at the tip. Is that normal ? Any help would be very much or appreciated . I did go to the docs they didn’t really understand what I meant , checked with finger and said anal tone was good so
want sure why I was having ‘leaks’ I tried to explain it wasn’t a full leak. She just said to drink water and increase fibre!! Help! It’s horrible and feel dirty
thanks in advance

Do you have piles?

You aren't emptying properly, maybe try some fibrogel drinks for a while.

Are you regular? Do you follow a high fibre diet? Constipation can cause all sorts of issues.

S22 · 01/06/2024 08:46

Regular yes. I think my diet is so. Is it a sign of constipation the symptoms I’m having ?

See your gp if it’s a change of bowel habits
