Landlord took 2/3 week to do inventory check out

We moved out of our rented accommodation 2 to 3 weeks ago.And the landlord has just done an invitntry check He says that there are multiple issues and that he is going to obtain quotes to fix everything back to standard when we moved in
He said the property was not clean even though I had spent Hours cleaning,he sent us a shitty email saying he's getting quotes. He will send the report once he's got quotes .
He is also selling the property.So we handed the keys back to an estate agent and multiple people have had access to the property Since we've left, we lost all the photos.We took when we moved because my partner broke his phone.

We do , however , have emails that Showing that we reported issues and they were never fixed Everything that is wrong in the flat at the moment is down to wear and tear.Because we ve been there 4 yrs plus .

After that email he sent us.It has caused us unnecessary stress because he hasn't even sent the inventntry checkout.

Is your deposit in a registered scheme? If so you can appeal. If not he’s in trouble and you can take him to court for the deposit and compensation

Is there any chance the pics taken would be on the cloud somewhere?

Remember, it's not up to the Landlord whether you get your deposit back or not. It has to be agreed between you both, and if it can't be agreed, then you can utilise the relevant tenancy deposit scheme's arbitration service.

What things is he claiming for?

No unfortunately we've checked and nothing backed up .
Yes it's in a sceme , we haven't got a clue what he is claiming for as he hasn't sent the report just a shitty condescending email.

OK. Then get ahead - log into the deposit scheme with your details and start claiming your deposit back. Your landlord will be notified and he will then have to list what he is or isn't withholding money for. Don't wait for him to kick things off, get started straight away.
