Do these moles need checked?

Have a wee purple raised mole on arm. Doesn't bother me but is getting bigger.
Also a brown mark on face, flat.
Will attach pics.
Is it worth getting them checked?

Yes

Always better to be safe than sorry. I would get them checked.
Just to add I have a friend who has a mark on her face very similar to yours - the GP measures it every six months and is keeping a close eye on it for any other changes.

Not perfect pics but best I could get.
May be age marks / freckles. I was a prolific sunbed user aged 20 🤦‍♀️ (now 55) so I've always wondered about that damage possibly showing up later.

I have a GP appt about something else afternoon so I could ask then but I think it's 1 issue per appointment?

Personally I would get the first one checked. I have several of the little red blobs like the one in your second photo. I can't recall the name now but I understand they are nothing to worry about.

I asked. The wee purple one she said was 'just some blood vessels'. The brown blotchy splodge she said was a 'seborrheic (sp?) wart'. Not infectious, just a sign of age. She did tell me to photograph it & measure it every 6m.

There is an app where you log photos every month and it tells you.

There is lots of information on line for what to look for.
