Can the cake be saved?

DH and I went out for a meal last night for our 20th anniversary and left DC (13 and 15) at home- all very lovely. Lovelier still, got home and DD (13) had made a chocolate fudge cake. She’s a great baker but it was late and DH said he would get it out at the requisite time. He got it out and she iced it today. We cut it tonight and it was woefully undercooked 😭😭😭. Is there anything that can be done?

Eat it with a spoon?

Microwave a portion and serve with ice cream.

Put spoonfuls in cake cases to cook. Probably won't rise as well though!

Has it been left undercooked for a whole day? Not sure how safe that would be to reheat but you might get away with it if it was refrigerated? Personally I wouldn't risk eating all of it, just nibble at the cooked edges.

I did similar recently, I tried to re bake as it wasn't iced but it didn't work. Could have wept

Chocolate fudge cake is nice eaten heated up anyway, so I'd just put it in the microwave or the oven for a bit longer than normal. Might not be perfect, but I'd have thought with some ice cream or whatever it would be edible.
