Why is it called 'Britain's Got Talent'?

Genuinely don't understand why there are so many acts from overseas when it is a programme that's been franchised worldwide?

Does anyone know why it's not limited to British entrants?

Because we have run out of talent.

Totally agree! Clearly we don't have the talent?! I don't think you should need to be a British national to enter but you should be ordinarily resident here in the UK, imo. So fine if you're a foreign national that lives here, but I don't understand why we are importing very sophisticated acts that clearly just enter from overseas to try and build an international career for themselves. I mean, I don't blame them, as individuals - it makes sense, and blimey there are some fantastic acts! It just doesn't seem to be to fit the purpose of the show which I thought was about celebrating home grown talent?!

I think the Ghanaian dancers will win - the lady with the little girl.

I think it's because there wouldn't be enough variety of acts each year. It would become boring if it was too many singers and dancers and most of the acts doing something totally different to previous years have been foreign, such as the skipping, pogo stick, aerial hoop, martial arts etc. I dint mind them having so many foerign acts as I'd rather see more variety of talents.
