5th wedding anniversary - wood. Any ideas?

Trying to think of an anniversary present for my husband that sticks with the traditional wood theme but isn’t an engraved lump of wood.

I want to get something useful rather than random stuff to clutter up the house. As an example for paper I got theatre tickets, leather I got trainers.

I’m stuck and keep thinking I must be missing something obvious?!

A useful box or chest for keeping the house clutter free.

A nice pepper grinder.

A nice wooden bench for the garden? That might be a bit boring for some but I know it's the sort of thing my DH would love.

Does he use cufflinks? A beautiful box to keep them in?

There are some lovely wooden pens on Etsy if he likes that type of thing.

Is he into the BBQ? Nice set of wooden handled bbq tools in a box?
Is he into cooking? Nice set of kitchen knives/steak knives

and this! York Minster made some out of the remains of the medieval timbers after the fire. Bought one for my husband, it’s beautifully tactile.

A weekend away in a forest with a wood fired hot tub written out in a voucher made from paper if he wants a keep sake

He is into his gardening so maybe something wooden for the garden is a good idea!

A shed or a lathe, or even a lathe in a shed?

Or a break in the Black Forest. In a wooden house. Surrounded by wood 😁

Funnily enough he likes Tom Ford Noir which is a woody aftershave!

I’m loving the forest break ideas but not sure with the children. Taking them doesn’t feel very “anniversary” and I’m not sure we’d get a sitter.
