I had a tartiflette with lots of salad. Love the cheese, bacon and potato combo 😋

Falafels roasted aubergine and quinoa with salad.

Sour cream Pringles and chocolate so far…. I’m considering heating up some mushroom soup………
Although I tend to have a cooked lunch, then odds and sods in the evenings……

Leftover veggie stew that I made in the slow cooker yesterday, with white bread and butter. Followed by chocolate . Just comfort food really, as I'm feeling slightly out of sorts just now for some reason. Maybe I just need a good night's sleep!

Marplesyrup · 30/05/2024 20:34

Turkey curry, whole grain rice and broccoli.

catlovingdoctor · 30/05/2024 20:35

Wagamamas!

ChangeTheProphecy · 30/05/2024 20:35

Aubergine stuffed with pine nuts, spinach and tomato with mozzarella melted on top. I’m trying to have a vegetarian night at least once a week.

Deipara · 30/05/2024 20:38

Ribeye steak, mustard mash and tenderstem broccoli.

chattyness · 30/05/2024 20:39

Ham and cheese salad sounds a bit plain and boring but we love it, Mr Chattyness likes his neatly laid out in sections on the plate so it looks pretty, until he drowns it in salad cream. For me, I like to chop everything into bite size bits and mix it through on the plate with just a wee bitty salad cream, it looks messy but tastes so much better I think.

Dd cooked one of her random pasta concoctions

Spaghetti with green pesto , leeks , onions, bacon , chicken and grated cheddar

Was surprisingly nice

worriedgal · 30/05/2024 20:41

We had Korean pulled pork ( leftovers from a week ago from the freezer) in a stir fry with spinach, mushrooms and broccoli in oyster sauce.
Was delicious!

Jacket potato, cheese and pickle. It's cold, grey and miserable and I'm all for the comfort food today ☺️

Me too exactly, it was lush

CharlotteStreetW1 · 30/05/2024 20:44

Pork and apple burgers with potato wedges and rocket salad. All from scratch.

It was from Hello Fresh and really lovely.

Greentrilby · 30/05/2024 20:45

Sea bass on a bed of sliced roasted potatoes with red onion. Easy peasy Waitrose recipe.

grafittiartist · 30/05/2024 20:47

Cheese on toast.

CherryBlo · 30/05/2024 20:48

Lentil shepherd's pie, beetroot, and mixed salad with a bit of mayo (usually have a lemon dressing but I'm out of olive oil and the prices are ridiculous atm)

Alltheyearround · 30/05/2024 20:49

DS had left over spaghetti. He and DH made a sauce out of lots of cherry tomatoes, onions and herbs/cheese on top. I love cooked cherry toms it really brings the sweetness out.

Me and DH had left over rice and Patak's Korma (with onions, peppers, new potatoes, quorn chicken pieces).

Left overs rule!

Sadly will need to think of something to actually cook tomorrow.

Friday is often an omlette/frittata with whatever veg is left in fridge.

JustToBeMe · 30/05/2024 20:52

DH's birthday, so his favourites...
Prawn cocktail, roast chicken and all the trimmings including Yorkshire puds, and chocolate fudge cake with cream 😬
Home made too, I've been busy today 😬

Beginningless · 30/05/2024 20:53

Beans and cheese pastries, homemade chips, peas and cauliflower cheese. Random one!

Sleepychicken · 30/05/2024 20:54

Greentrilby · 30/05/2024 20:55

grafittiartist · 30/05/2024 20:47

We had that last night! With ketchup.

CrushingOnRubies · 30/05/2024 20:57
