Possible broken big toe DS12 - a&e?

I know they don't do much for toes, but it seems to be the joint on the big toe..conflicting advice on the internet. Does it need an X-ray given it's the big toe or still just a case of strapping it?

Lots of pain, can't walk on it.

This will be his 5th broken bone if it is!

I broke my big toe last year. They xrayed it to confirm and then strapped it up. I think you're supposed to be seen for a big toe, others may not matter as much

Do you have a minor injuries unit? I know not everywhere has one, but this is exactly what they are for!

Unfortunately no minor injuries round here.
